Five years ago, Federal Vehicles began researching, designing and developing what we called the "EVO I ". Federal offered the EVO I for two years until its replacement the "EVO II" was created. Federal discontinued sales of the EVO II in late 2008.

In April of 2009, Federal Vehicles began offering a unique line of cutting edge, affordable dual-purpose sandrails. We knew it would be a challenge offering a dune buggy that featured a Chromoly structure, Ecotec Powertrain and CVT Transmission while trying to turn a profit on a dune buggy that starts at $27,999. However, we were up to the task.
